Games industry veteran working in player-facing roles since 2011, chiefly within the Community Management and Player Experience field. CM, ComDev, Lead, Social Media, Publishing, and every other flavor of "Community/Player" roles in between.

I started in community when it wasn't seen as a valid career path, rather it was just a stepping stone to something else within the games industry; much like how Player Support or QA was seen. I've been fortunate enough to be involved in the process of legitimizing this field as a career progression path for anyone who believes their calling is here, and over the years have worked to create meaningful development tracks for it within the companies I worked. Today, I'm a consultant and someone that still believes this is one of the most important pillars for a healthy, long-lasting game; especially as we start to see shifts in the paradigms of how games are made, marketed, and ultimately succeed.
